Frank signed with MGM in 1945 and filmed "Anchors Way" and "The House I Live In", for which he won an Academy Award

Frank starred in dozens of movies, many of which were with Gene Kelly including "Anchors Away", "On the Town", and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".
